Fractured Reality
Fractured Reality
In the stillness where the shadows lay, a fractured mind begins to sway,
Whispers echo, disjointed and loud, reality breaks through a darkened shroud.
Visions twist with each fleeting glance, memories morph into a ghostly dance,
A psyche torn, unraveling thread, lost in a world where the sane have fled.
Walls close in, a claustrophobic grip, thoughts cascade and reality slips,
Voices argue, a cacophony of fear, sanity’s fragile grip disappears.
Mirrors reflect a distorted past, each reflection more horrific than the last,
A soul adrift in a sea of dread, haunted by phantoms of the dead.
In the maze of the mind’s descent, where echoes of torment are ever-present,
Eyes wide open, yet seeing naught, sanity’s price in the horror bought.
Grasping for clarity within the haze, lost in the nightmare’s twisted maze,
A life unravels, the end draws near, trapped in a cycle of perpetual fear.
Scribbled notes of a disordered mind, despere clues to the truth behind,
A trembling hand writes the final plea,Save me from this insanity.
In the silence, the echoes grow, a haunting refrain from long ago,
Reality splinters, the psyche cries, lost in a tangle of deceit and lies.
