Forgotten Ph
Forgotten
Through the thicket, undergrowth crept,
Where once we walked, now only wept.
A path overgrown, with wild reclaim,
Nure’s quiet, a whispering claim.
Footprints faded, no travelers here,
Only echoes of laughter, distant and dear.
Vines entangle the way we roamed,
In a wilderness where thoughts once combed.
This forgotten path, edged by the press
Of time’s soft footsteps, its silent caress.
Memories like leaves, rustle underfoot,
A carpet of moments, trodden and put.
Here, the air holds a mossy scent,
Of secrets whispered, promises spent.
Shadows play in the corners of sight,
Dancing with the remainss of light.
Each bend recalls a different day,
Sunlit smiles, skies less gray.
Now, branches reach like pleading hands,
Over the forgotten lands.
A chill wind blows through the narrows,
Whistling tunes of olden arrows.
It stirs the leaves to ghostly flight,
A fleeting rustle, then out of sight.
No signs remain that declare our way,
Just a path that dreams of yesterday.
Yet still, some beauty here does thrive,
In the quiet heart where pasts survive.
So tread softly on this earthy bed,
Where echoes of forgotten steps are led.
This path, though lost to the common eye,
Holds tales of old, ‘neh the open sky.
In this quiet grove, let the mind wander,
On paths both yonder and fonder.
For every forgotten trail we tread,
Keeps alive the worlds we’ve wed.
